Yorkshire Water is a water supply and treatment utility company. The company's area includes West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, the East Riding of Yorkshire, part of North Lincolnshire, most of North Yorkshire and part of Derbyshire. It serves 2.3 million households and 130,000 business customers.
The company has its origins in the Yorkshire Water Authority, one of ten regional water authorities created by the Water Act 1973, and privatised under the terms of the Water Act 1989, when Yorkshire Water plc (renamed Kelda Group in 1999), the parent company of the Yorkshire Water business, was floated on the London Stock Exchange. In February 2008, Kelda Group was bought by a consortium of infrastructure funds.

Yorkshire Water’s focus is on ensuring all their customers have clean water on tap and have their waste water taken away 24/7, 365 days a year.
imastr’s role
imastr were engaged by Yorkshire Water to utilise its jobmastr platform to create, dispatch and provide real-time visibility of work tasks being undertaken by their field-based operatives throughout its regional network.

Both the jobmastr app and management platform were successfully deployed within Yorkshire Water’s operations allowing the completion of over 1,000 jobs per day. The jobmastr platform provides the Yorkshire Water management team with full visibility, detailed information and analytics ensuring a more efficient and effective execution of their field-based work tasks.
